MG Carden (Georgia ARNG TAG) presenting the Oglethorpe Distinguished Service Award to Jeff Hobaugh

BMA and the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) bid a happy and well-deserved retirement for Jeff Hobaugh as he departs BMA and MCTSP. Jeff was an Officer Senior Trainer, supporting Georgia National Guard units with military planning, command post support,

and mentorship as they train and support for our National Defense. Jeff began his service in the US Army in 1984 attending Officer Candidate School, Infantry Officer’s Course, and Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. He commanded a Bradley Company and deployed to Desert Storm in 1990. In 1991, Jeff received the Douglas MacArthur Award for best US Army company commander in Europe. He then transitioned to the Georgia National Guard serving in numerous units, culminating with the 48th Infantry Brigade. After retiring from the US Army in 2001, Jeff worked for several Internet Security Companies and eventually joined the MCTSP in 2010. Jeff served on the MCTSP contract with several companies, providing unwavering support to the Army National Guard over the last 10 years. All of us here at the BMA Family, wish Jeff, his wife, and the entire family all the best as they enjoy their Golden Years!
